Understanding Bulk Turkey Neck Pricing
When shopping for bulk turkey necks prices will vary between
- $1.50 – $2.50 per pound
- 15-30 pounds per case or package
You can find even lower prices – sometimes under $1 per pound – if buying 100+ pounds from a meat wholesaler.
Factors impacting cost include:
- Retail vs. wholesale source
- Time of year (higher demand holidays)
- Organic or free-range vs. conventional
- Fresh vs. frozen product
While frozen necks are often cheaper, fresh turkey necks have the best texture and flavor. Try to find a supplier offering fresh product if possible.
Buying turkey necks at the lowest cost per pound means buying more in bulk from a wholesale warehouse or direct from a meat processor.
