Is Turkey Tenderloin the Same as Turkey Breast?
The term “tenderloin” only designates a particular area of the turkey breast. Turkey tenderloin is boneless and skinless, while turkey breast is typically 4 to 6 pounds and has both bone and skin.
Tenderloin is a good-sized portion even though it will be a little smaller than the breast. Normally, I purchase Jennie O turkey tenderloin, which costs between 1 and 5 lb to 2 lb cuts of meat!.
These can also be contrasted with turkey cutlets cooked in an air fryer, which are even smaller than turkey tenderloins. I compare them to a thin chicken breast size.
What Temperature Should Turkey Tenderloin Be Cooked To?
According to the U. S. D. A. To be considered safe to eat, turkey must reach a temperature of 165 degrees. This includes the tenderloin portion.
In order to quickly determine the internal temperature, I advise using an Instant-Read Thermometer. You won’t run the risk of overcooking your turkey breast tenderloin when you use an air fryer because of this.
My Kizen Instant-Read Thermometer has read meats successfully in 2 to 3 seconds.
