On a recent trip to Istanbul, I was looking for a boutique hotel that would allow me to easily explore the main historic attractions while also providing a comfortable and charming base. After doing some research, I booked a stay at Aren Suites based on its ideal location and great reviews. Aren Suites is situated on a quiet side street, providing a peaceful respite from the activity outside while still allowing easy access to all the top sights. It’s just a 2 minute walk to the stunning Blue Mosque and 5 minutes to Hagia Sophia. Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, and Basilica Cistern are also within a quick 10-15 minute stroll.

I loved being able to simply step outside and wander over to these world-famous landmarks. The central location made it so easy to explore during my stay. I saved so much time not having to deal with public transportation.

I booked a junior suite which gave me plenty of space to spread out. I loved relaxing on the sofa in the seating area. The extra touches like the coffee maker and mini-fridge were much appreciated.

Throughout my stay, I was impressed by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. The staff does an excellent job keeping the property in pristine shape.

One of my favorite parts of staying at Aren Suites was breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. The fresh, bountiful breakfast buffet included Turkish staples like cheese, olives, baked goods, and kaymak as well as made-to-order omelets.

While feasting on the delightful food, I got to take in panoramic views of Istanbul’s enchanting skyline. From the rooftop vantage point, I could gaze out at historic mosques and the glittering Bosphorus Strait in the distance. It was a fabulous way to start each day of sightseeing.

In the evenings, the rooftop terrace became the perfect spot to relax over a cocktail or cup of Turkish tea while soaking in the magical city views. The twinkling lights of the Blue Mosque at night were simply mesmerizing.

Outstanding Service & Hospitality

From the warm welcome upon check-in to the friendly goodbye, the service from the staff truly stood out. Everyone I encountered was incredibly helpful and eager to make sure I had the best stay possible.

The front desk staff in particular went above and beyond. They booked reservations, offered sightseeing tips, and arranged transportation. When I needed to store my luggage after checkout, they quickly assisted.

I also want to commend the fantastic housekeeping team. They not only did an immaculate job cleaning, but took time to thoughtfully prepare the room with sweet touches like leaving chocolates on the pillows. Their attention to detail was exceptional.

The genuine hospitality I experienced really enhanced my time in Istanbul. The staff’s commitment to providing personalized service was obvious.
